FUNDRAISER EVENT BRANDING
This event was both a charity and tribute event in memory of the late Mark O’Prey who was tragically killed in the Clutha helicopter incident, in late November 2013. Organised and promoted by two long standing friends of Mark’s, it was to be a celebration of his life with an evening of live ska and punk music headlined by Glasgow band Esperanza, who were playing live in the Clutha Vaults at the time of the accident.
We worked around a ‘2 Tone’ vibe for the creative and based the colour palette completely on ox-blood Doc Marten boots which are of course a mainstay in the outfit of fans’ of the 2 Tone music genre. We designed posters to promote the event and t-shirts that were available to purchase on the night of the event. The event tickets themselves were printed onto thick stock and laminated to be kept as a momentum of the event.
